Shader

Shaders are real time effects applied on layers. Selected layer shader is located on Right panel.

Summary

Color

Colors modification.

Adjustments

General color adjustment (saturation, hue, contrast, gamma, …).

Indexation

Index the layer colors with a palette after color adjustments.

Match indexation

Use a new palette to match and replace indexed colors following color position on palette.

There is also shift value to make color cycling animation.

Dithering

Add dithering pattern for colors between some indexation colors following a threshold.

Lines

Pixel perfect lines. In general, you can choose to display only the lines and if the lines color should be indexed or not.

Outline

Add a line outside the shapes (should be transparent background).

Inline

Add a line inside the shapes (should be transparent background). Alpha value can be set to blend with under color.

Colors line

Add a line between two colors.

Normal line

Add a pixel perfect line following normal buffer angles. Normal buffer can be seen using compare tool.

Only works with 3D layers for the moment.

Depth line

Add a pixel perfect line following depth buffer difference. Depth buffer can be seen using compare tool.

Only works with 3D layers for the moment.

Filters

Mask

Hide colors of the layer present on the mask palette.

Opacity

Allow transparent colors and use a threshold to put opacity to 1 if the current opacity is above the threshold or else 0.

Polish

Define the minimum length of the pixel art edges. For example, if you put remove edge at 1px, a border of a sprite with a single pixel at the edge it will be removed.

Denoising

Filter to remove noise on the layer.

Effects

Tiled Mode

Repeat the canvas result in x or y axes (or both) to preview the repetitions (for tiles for example or background). Also auto repeat water and shockwave effect.

Water

Add wave effects on the layer which can be animated.

Shockwave

Add shockwave effect on the layer which can be animated.
